Sports Medicine deals with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries suffered during athletic activity. Specializing in Sports Medicine, Dr. Kim has over 20 years of experience in efficiently treating sports-related injuries. Pain Management
Pain Management deals with the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic pain. Although the use of oral medication can be beneficial in pain management, sometimes their use is not sufficient and can cause unwanted side effects , especially when the pain is ongoing and difficult to manage. Therefore, other treatment options are often utilized for pain management.
As a Pain Management specialist, Dr. Kim uses the latest techniques and technology, while applying the most current theories, to help his patients in their fight against pain. Common nonsurgical and effective treatments used include injection therapies (epidural steroid injections, trigger point injections, and facet injections), stem cell therapies, physical therapy, oral medications, and platelet rich plasma therapy. Dr. Kim also collaborates with other pain specialists in Southern CA so that he may provide the most beneficial comprehensive treatment plan for all of his patients.

Our RN clinical staff is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Anesthesia services are provided by Anesthesiologists specializing in outpatient anesthesia.
